Jen McMahon - CEO and Founder

Jen attended Greenville College playing soccer while pursuing a degree in Recreational Leadership. Upon graduation, Jen went right into higher education and has been there ever since. Starting in admissions she found her passion in helping first generation students financially afford a private four year university. This led her to her career in the Financial Aid world and to a Master’s Degree in Management. Her passion for the students and their families is what drove her to create All*Star Financial Aid. She wants to match students with the best university for them. On top of that she wants to make it possible for students to afford pursuing their educational goals. She has 10+ years in higher education in roles such as Director of Financial Aid, Student Accounts Administrator, and Assistant Director of Admissions, and Assistant Director of Online Admissions. She has worked at Greenville College, Belhaven University and Palm Beach Atlantic University. 


Jessica Jackson - VP Operations

Jessica earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management at Ohio Christian University. She has worked in the financial aid industry for 10+ years in many different areas. Jessica began her career in financial aid as a federal work study student at her alma mater. She then served in both the admissions and financial aid department at the graduate level at Wesley Biblical Seminary. In addition, she served in multiple areas of financial aid at Belhaven University. Jessica is a first generation college student and understands the importance of completing a degree and the challenge of navigating the complexities of financial aid. Jessica is excited to help students achieve their educational goals at an affordable cost.


Rick McPeak, Ph.D. - Senior Consultant

Rick McPeak is an Associate Professor of Philosophy and Religion at Greenville College and the Senior Pastor of the St. Paul’s Free Methodist Church in Greenville, Illinois.  Dr. McPeak took his degree in Historical Theology from St. Louis University in 2001.  He holds an undergraduate degree in Biblical Theology from Aldersgate College. He has studied Community Psychology formally at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. Rick has served in youth ministry with Young Life and with the Free Methodist Church.  He has coached both football and women’s volleyball at the collegiate level. For the last 20 years he has been the Senior Pastor at St. Paul’s Free Methodist Church. Rick is also a Gallup strengths coach.  He believes that a strengths-based approach to life is both theologically sound and practically beneficial. Rick believes that partnering with All*Star Financial Aid presents the perfect application of his career and personal skills at this stage of his life.  Helping students to find their voices and to become authentic selves is the passion of his life.
