FAFSA Completion

Filing the FAFSA can be stressful, especially if you have never done it before. We have experienced Financial Aid Counselors to help you through the steps of filing the paperwork, and we will counsel you through the process from start to finish.

You may notice some Colleges and Universities will offer their services free, only because they want you to attend their school. We are here to help guide you through the college financial aid process without any pressure to attend a particular university.

Price and Financial Aid Negotiations

Financial Aid Awards from Colleges and Universities are tough at best to read. We provide services to help you decipher your Financial Aid Packages and also to help you understand what you could be eligible for. Our negotiators have had years of financial aid and admissions experience and they will be able to help you know what questions to ask. If they do not get you $500 more in scholarships, grants, and loans then we will return your investment. Our goal is to help you afford the college and university in which you want to attend.

Customized Scholarship Guide

Our scholarship counselors will lead you through the scholarship world to help find outside scholarships and grants in which you can apply for. They will even speak with your guidance counselor to find local area scholarship and grant opportunities and then provide a list for which you can apply.

Verification Support

Never heard of verification? Think IRS audit...  30% of FAFSA filers are selected for verification.  This can be a scary proposition for families who have never been through the process before. Schools will start to ask you for additional personal information. Our staff has many years of financial aid experience including a former financial aid director and we will take the burden off of the family during this stressful time.

Professional Judgment Support

Are you and your family in a situation where a family member has lost a job? Do you pay for other children’s tuition or child care expenses? Have you received a one-time payment that is reflected on your tax return or in your savings? Does your family have unusually high medical expenses? We stand ready to help you negotiate the rough waters of unusual circumstances. This process is called Professional Judgment. This is where your college or university can make a judgment to make changes to your FAFSA to reflect your true situation. Our financial aid specialists will help you to communicate to your school and provide support through this trying time.

Loan Repayment

Now that you have graduated, do you know your loan repayment options? The majority of borrowers don’t even know how to find out who their lender(s) is. We have loan specialists on hand to help you find out who your lender is, how much you owe, and help you select the best repayment option for your situation. We can help you apply for forbearance or deferment. No one should ever have their credit affected by a student loan and we can help you avoid that . We will even help you to pay off your debt in two years if you are committed.
